Taking my mum with ocd to a supermarket is a major expedition. I made sure we used all the anti-bacterials I could find beforehand. Then she started grabbing stuff off the shelves and I decided not to worry about it, until she sensed a problem, a fish tray with cling film that was wet underneath, but now she’d actually handled it, I told her to place it in the trolley and I tried to work out what to do next, But I was so proud of her, fish and decided to see what the cashier would do. Nothing! Then it was time to pay. I was nervous for my mum as the cashier didn’t use antibac, but she carried on as normal. To be honest, I paused to wonder how my mum coped with the shopping, as there was a lot of it? Did it seem dangerous for her? I really don’t know for sure, but I’m proud of her! We’ll have to wait and see what happens next trip….
