YOUTH E-HELPLINE
Our Youth e-Helpline is here for anyone currently living in the UK between the ages of 14 and 25 who are affected by OCD or a related condition.
You don’t need to have a diagnosis of OCD to get in touch. In fact, about half of the young people who email us are unsure about whether they have OCD or not. Our Youth e-Helpline team is mostly made up of volunteers with lived experience of OCD or related conditions, and so they really understand the challenges that such conditions can bring. As we are not medical professionals, we won’t be able to diagnose you, but we can chat to you about how you’re feeling and provide information about OCD or related conditions and how to access the recommended treatments.
If you are a parent/caregiver/loved one, a professional supporting a young person or over the age of 25 you can access support and information through the OCD Action Helpline by calling 0300 636 5478 and leaving a voice message or by emailing support@ocdaction.org.uk
