OCD Action was formed in 1994 to help those affected with OCD.
The Charity’s 2012-2015 Strategic Plan sets out OCD Action’s vision and the core activities that the Charity plans to undertake . Its purpose is to help the Trustees and the Director plan ahead and ensure that there are clear targets and objectives for each year, so that they are confident that all activities work towards achieving the Charity’s vision.
Our vision is for a society where OCD is better understood and diagnosed quickly, where appropriate treatment options are open and accessible, where support and information are readily available and where nobody feels ashamed to ask for help – it’s time to act.

The Charity believes that it is vital to measure the impact that it makes. This way we can know if our services are having the desired effect, whether we can improve and if we are using our funds in the most effective way.
We have different ways of measuring our impact for our different projects and services as well as for the awareness raising and campaigning work that we do.

OCD Action needs to keep growing and developing so that we can provide a better service and do a better job for more people affected by OCD.
From time to time we add to our small staff team. Whatever the role, we want people who are passionate about changing the lives of people with OCD, know more than we do already and
are happy to get stuck in.
