I’m new to this after being diagnosed in my mid 20s, after living with this since I was 18. I had got use to life like this and was living a relatively normal life, and was in a really good place last year where I would rarely have intrusive thoughts that would bother me, or they would be there and I never really gave them the time of day.
until recently my mind revisited something from my childhood which had never previously bothered me and a I would go as far as saying I forgot about it. Now it is in my head every day saying I’m this terrible person and makes me feel like these intrusive thoughts are more powerful and convince me they are genuine, have been depressed for the past few months and constantly think everyday that this world is not for me anymore, and I would rather not be around.
questioning whether there is any hope it will get better as has been 4 months of every single day and I little or no sign that this will pass.6 June 2022 at 12:55 #19549Forum ModeratorsHi:
