Hi: I have tried to find someone who has the same OCD experiences and really worrying intrusive thoughts about harm as my dad does.  He doesn’t really want to ask for help or advice because he has extreme difficulty asking for help and so he just suffers. But I want to try to help him know that he’s not alone with his harm OCD.

Suggest he talks to his doctor.

He is certainly not alone with harm ocd. I used to suffer from it terribly.

Mine got better when it was explained to me that I was NOT a real threat to anyone.
