Is it still ocd if the thoughts that made you feel anxious are gone and now you have no intrusive thoughts just obsessive ones?

I think personally that once an ocd sufferer you are always susceptible to more ocd thoughts than someone who has never had it. If that makes sense. So while you might go without for ages, something may trigger it randomly and it’ll come back. That’s not to say I don’t think you can recover from ocd. I think recovery is possible but coming from my experience (I’ve had ocd since the age of 7 and now I’m 33) I think it’s quite rare. I think it’s possible to keep it under wraps and learn to live with it and have a happy life though! Again, this is just my personal opinion.</p>
