Forum Moderators here:
OCD Action understands how isolating OCD and related conditions can be. Even if you use these forums regularly, you might feel alone or cut off from other people. Joining a support group can make a big difference and help you feel you’re not facing OCD on your own.
Where can I read about support groups?
Find all of our information about support groups on the OCD Action website here: https://ocdaction.org.uk/online-support-groups/
All our support groups are peer led, run by trained OCD Action volunteers. They are a safe space to speak to others in an open and non judgemental atmosphere.
Our groups can be accessed using either mobile/landline for our audio groups or Zoom for video groups and as we send the call out there are no call charges to join in. Each support group also has a closed Facebook group of which participants are offered access to if they wish.
You can sign-up to a maximum of three support groups initially. After attending these at least once, you are welcome to sign-up to a further one or two support groups.
(Please note we are experiencing a high volume of registrations to our support groups. Please allow up to 14 days before you receive confirmation that you are fully registered by our sign-up volunteers, thank you)
Need more information or the full list of OCD Actions online and phone support groups?
If you’d like more information, please email OCD Action at:
- email: sign-up@ebtsupportgroups.co.uk
- phone: the OCD Action Cromer office: 0303 040 1112
Note: Please use the contact details above; forum moderators can’t answer specific questions about support groups or help you to sign up.
We hope you find this helpful!

We just want forum users to know that our Support Group pages on the OCD Action website are regularly updated. You can find the Support Group pages here: https://ocdaction.org.uk/online-support-groups/
OCD Action’s Online Support Groups provide a safe and welcoming environment where you can connect with others with similar experiences and offer mutual support without judgement. All support groups are peer led and facilitated by a dedicated team of trained volunteers.
Our support groups are available to anyone based in the UK. Participation is easily accessible via Zoom, with the option to have your camera on or off. For those unable to access Zoom, we provide a limited number of places in our phone support groups. We send the calls out, so there are no charges to join.
In addition to regular support group sessions, each support group has a private Facebook group. If you would like to connect with fellow members outside of support group sessions, you are welcome to join these online communities.
Signing up to attend any of our support groups gives you access to an additional monthly Navigating Services group, where you can learn about accessing treatment via the NHS, treatment pathways and using mental health services.
We hope you find this useful,
