Trying to help my brother

Im really worried about my brother because his ocd means he is depending on my family to do everything for him and we try to help but he asks us to do the same things over and over.  I think it is not a helpful and I want to ask him to stop but what reason do I give him without hurting his feelings and making ocd worse?
