Hello: Something happened to me a few days ago, I know lots of people do this every day without thinking about it but…I went somewhere and didn’t stop to think: Was it clean? To be honest, for once, I didn’t really notice. We chatted with some strangers and I didn’t clean anything and it was all okay. I’m doing Exposure response prevention (ERP) with the support of my CBT therapist and I have the evidence it’s working. Today, we went for a ride in the car, was it perfectly clean? I really don’t know, but, it doesn’t really matter but I don’t overdo it. Let’s just do what we each can do and get through this ocd life together.
