      I’ve had the same thing lately (very similar to what you describe, I am a cis woman) – I think that OCD themes often come about from the press or the zeitgeist of the moment. For example, trans people are (rightfully) much mire visible now, but it seems our brains have latched on to that. Gender identity is complex and can change over the course of someones life, and our societal ideas of gender also change over time, it’s really hard though as I totally get the fear as it’s impossible to say for sure one way or the other. Happy to chat about this more!
