Override a bad bdd compulsion?

Hi One thing about bdd I hate is that if I could, I’d always override a bad compulsion. But I can’t. I’m held back from doing anything to help and I feel responsible for everything and have little or no control over bdd really. Nothing I do is good enough. I feel ridiculously guilty and I wonder why I put so much emphasis on my body, something drove me to be like this. but what?
