How can do a google search for ocd therapy? Is it just CBT? Or search on OCD and cbt? And how do I search for this on this site? I can’t find anything.
3 March 2023 at 16:02 #25523Forum ModeratorsHello:
Two good places to start on our website are the pages:
1. Treatment Overview to read our summary about treatments, including links to:
2. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy With Exposure And Response Prevention where you’ll find links to therapy resources including:
- Therapy (CBT with ERP)
To find all of OCD Action’s treatment resources
1. At the top of the homepage, click on the green “Learn About OCD” bar. Then, click on: “All of our resources“
2. Next, scroll down and click on a blue bar, for example “I want to find out about the recommended treatments”. You’ll then see these links – click on them for more information:
Treatments information pack [PDF here]
- Therapy (CBT with ERP)
- Good quality CBT with ERP
- What to look for in a therapist (including privately)
- Making the most of therapy
- Medication (Anti-obsessional)
- Treatments that are not recommended and why
We hope you’ll find this helpful!
