Does anyone else have this problem: if just about everything triggers your ocd anxiety, must your ocd be pretty bad or even untreatable?. My mum said to ask my gp to do tests like a blood panel to see if it’s ocd or related to getting proper nutrition, or my hormones levels. Anyone else done this? What happended?

For me I know many of my triggers. So I know what it is that could be bothering me at a certain time. But I’ve been living with it for nearly 30 years now so had some practice. I’ve never noticed everything setting me off, I have certain issues and never found everything triggering me. I’ve noticed in times of stress certainly it’s worse but never to the point where I feel like that. I’m not sure what docs would do. But if it’s having a negative impact on your life going to see the doc wouldn’t hurt. They may prescribe medication or put you on the list to have some therapy, CBT etc. it’s never a bad step to take if you are constantly anxious. Hope things take a turn for better in no time 🙂
