I know that most types of OCD respond to CBT as it teaches us to think differently. But my BDD has created in me a very negative way of thinking. What is a good way to get out of concentrating on my weaknesses? My body is less than perfect but can any human ever be perfect? And I look at other peoples’ bodies and can’t see their strengths, or good points. I want to develop a good, positive approach but I focus on my imperfections and others’ too, I just can’t appreciate anybodys strengths, that would be a good thing, and maybe only see others’ bodies as their own problems, not mine, but how???
