I have ocd and my mum wants me to move out but this is scary and a massive step that I think will cause me horrendous anxiety, especially as I have never lived with anyone else. Has anyone else dealed with this?

Forum Moderators here: we’re sorry you’re going through such a difficult time right now and we want to help. We want to be sure you and your Mum know that you both can contact the OCD Action Helpline and Email Service to talk to or email someone who understands OCD.
Our Helpline volunteers provide confidential information and support for people with OCD (and their family members too). Most volunteers have personal experience of OCD; all understand how it can impact a family’s life.
Contact our Helpline by:

- email: support@ocdaction.org.uk
And please remember that you’re never alone – OCD Action is always here to help and support you and your family.
