Hi: I’ve noticed that very gradually, now I’m getting off ocd meds, I don’t feel so great. I try to keep a record of how I feel. Now I’m starting to feel bad should i stop reducing? Should I at least tell my GP what I am doing?
Don’t further reduce if you feel bad. Stick with what you are on or maybe go back up a tad.
It would be good, maybe, to get your doctor to assist you. But, having said that, I fell out with one doctor over ssris. She wanted to double my dose. I refused. I think I was right about it. Doctors are no more infallible than the Pope. But it’s still good to listen to the doctor, but then you have to make up your own mind.
Thanks very much for posting on the forums and sorry you haven’t had many replies yet. We just want you to know that you’re never alone and OCD Action is here to support you.
