I have experienced this  feeling, don’t know there was a term for it? Sometimes you feel a physical sensation and then you get a thought going along with it and you associate the two and the panic kicks it. This used to bother me more than it does now – after it happens a lot of times it is easier to see the patterns and say to yourself that it is your OCD doing it.

When you feel any kind of heightened physical sensations it is usually nice, but you are also vulnerable because if a disturbing thought comes in it turns to anxiety. This anxiety is the disconnect you feel and unappealing thoughts. It feels ‘unnatural’ because it is for you.  You can’t control what thoughts come into your mind so it might happen sometimes, but the anxiety you experience is evidence that these feelings are not pleasant. But how can I not dwell on it?
