      I do this every single day. I hate having to question everything thinking was it dirty or are my hands dirty and if I touch something it will be contaminated. I felt that clothes I wore become dirty after going to the toilet. My CBT therapist tried some ERP which sometimes helped but since the sessions ended up I’ve reverted back. Its the self doubt and lack of confidence thats stopping me. I excessively wash my hands after going to the toilet and being careful that my hands don’t touch anything whilst washing them. I hate being like this and just wish to be my version of normal which is to wash my hands once and know they are clean without intrusive thoughts plaguing me and to know that the stuff I think it dirty and contaminated is actually not.
