2024 Half Marathon: Thanks for Your Support!

      Date: Sunday 8th September 2024
      Location: Newcastle, UK
      Entry fee: £30
      Fundraising Target: £350 minimum

      THANKS FOR JOININSG #TEAMOCDA

OCD Action has a vision of a time when everyone gets the treatment they need for OCD, when they need it. By running for #TeamOCDA, you helped us to provide even more people with the vital support and information that helps them access the treatment they so desperately need, and you helped us to reduce, for even more people, the isolation that we know is all too often such a cruel result of OCD.

The Great North Run is the biggest half marathon in the world, and on every keen runner’s bucket list! It started Newcastle, took in the stunning Tyne Bridge, and finished in coastal South Shields. Places were highly sought after, so we hope you got yours early to avoid disappointment!

Every runner received an OCD Action T-shirt and was supported all the way by OCD Action with training tips, nutrition advice and everything they needed to know about fundraising to help reach their target.

We just asked everyone to commit to trying their very best to raise at least £350. As a small charity, these places are an investment for us, and we rely on making a return to fund our frontline services.
