I just want to share a little tip for living with ocd: expect nothing every day. Yes, nothing! For example, I spent all yesterday expecting ill-effects from my grandsons’ visit, as they make everything dirty and really greasy to handle. I worried and worried. But nothing happened. I realise the contamination fear was created by me. If I decide to expect nothing every day, either good or bad, then how can I go wrong. The result = less stress = fewer intrusive thoughts. Try it!
