starting a conversation with your GP about OCD can be really daunting. What if they don’t understand? What if they misinterpret your thoughts? Intrusive thoughts can be hard enough to deal with on your own, let alone share with someone else.
The good news is, you don’t need to go into detail with your GP. At your appointment, all you need to do is explain that you’re experiencing intrusive thoughts and compulsions, and that they’re impacting your life.
