Hi there, For myself, Ocd is an enemy. It totally messes up life. The best way to tackle an enemy, I find, is to read up on it. CBT is the often successfully used method of combating it. Therapy is available on the NHS in UK, but there tends to be a waiting list. But there are some really good books available.
