Hi there, and welcome. A doctor can refer for CBT, Cognitive behavioural therapy.  Although there is often a waiting list. Also, there are books to help, stuff by  Rob Willson, Rhena Branch, David Veale etc. Check them out on Amazon, and lots of other books come up too.  It can take a little while, but OCD can be successfully treated. My Favourite book is ‘The Feeling good Handbook’ By Dr David Burns, in fact, any of his books are brilliant, easy to read and follow.
