Become an OCD Action Student Ambassador

Are you passionate about raising awareness and improving support for students with OCD? Join OCD Action’s Student Ambassador Programme and help make a difference at your university.

What is the Student Ambassador Programme?

For students with OCD, university can be a tough time. Misunderstandings about the condition and a lack of tailored support often leave students feeling isolated and unsure where to turn for help.

The Student Ambassador Programme tackles these issues by partnering with students who have lived experience of OCD. Together, we want to:

  • Improve awareness and understanding of OCD on campuses across the UK.
  • Make sure students know how to access the right resources and support.
  • Create a more inclusive and supportive university culture for everyone affected by OCD.

As a Student Ambassador, you’ll be part of a nationwide team working to ensure no student with OCD feels alone.

What’s Involved?

As a Student Ambassador, you’ll help raise awareness of OCD and improve understanding at your university. You will:

  • Act as a point of contact: Share information about OCD Action’s resources with students and staff, connecting them to the help they need.
  • Raise awareness: Share materials and create opportunities for conversations about OCD.
  • Engage your community: Organise events and, if comfortable, share your lived experience to help others.

You’ll receive full training, ongoing support, and all the materials you need to succeed. No experience is necessary—just a commitment to making a difference.
