When you have ocd do you think about EVERYTHING you touch being “dirty” like electric appliances, light switches, and now of course touch screens, what about rubber things, computers etc etc? We don’t even use anti-bacterials all the time anymore, like pushing shop door handles, train door locks, lift buttons, Oyster card readers. We touch stuff in a big city millions of people touch every week. But how many of us get sick?  Not many, so why does our ocd tell us these things are contaminated? WHY?
