Professor David Veale at King’s College London is recruiting for a study on the experiences of people with OCD who have undergone therapy from unqualified ‘coaches’.

      Advert:

We are seeking to interview people about their experiences and the effects of receiving treatment from unqualified and unlicensed individuals who claim to be experts by experience or ‘coaches’. Such coaches are unregulated, can be costly and many have a large following on social media. We think it is important to understand what constitutes the treatment and the effects so that those suffering from OCD can make informed decisions about treatment with such coaches. Any report will be entirely anonymous.

For details on inclusion criteria for the study and more, see this page on the OCD Action website: https://ocdaction.org.uk/get-involved/research/experiences-of-people-with-ocd-who-have-undergone-therapy-from-unqualified-coaches/
