Hi I’ve been getting very worried as I have OCD and now I forget things a few hours after I did them. Usually I have a fantastic memory and can remember everything. But during the last few months I cant focus on the thoughts in my head. I’ll do something and thenhours later cant remember myself doing it. Could this be related to OCD?

        I think it can, definitely.

Sometimes we are trying to remember everything we do as we go, which is actually impossible for most of us…

As a student, I would sit in a lecture, even chat with the lecturer during said lecture. But then, half an hour later, be unable to recall half of it… And I’d get told that I wasn’t listening! What?

        Of course I was listening!!!

I just couldn’t recall…  Teachers tore me to shreds… As a nursing student I was blasted because I could’t recall stuff from a patients’ interview.  And yet, 2 hours later, starting from the first question, I wrote out the whole thing… Pages of it… Then placed the papers on my ‘mentor’s desk, and walked out, never to return…

Academics can hear or read something, then regurgitate it, maybe without even thinking about it. I’m not academic.

Is it possible to have a degree in religious studies, and yet not have any sort of faith? Almost certainly.

        That’s wierd isn’t it?
