I’m new here and I’ve suffered with OCD with accompanying anxiety & depression since I was about 7. Although I didn’t know what it was then.

I am now 64 and was diagnosed with OCD when I was 44 after I had a breakdown and ended up in hospital.

I’ve been taking 100mg fluoxetine for the OCD and mirtazapine 45mg for the anxiety and depression for 20 years

I get at least 2 episodes a year lasting anything from between 1-3 months.

My psychiatrist has suggested  that I change these meds to anafranil so I’m not ill for long and I stay well for longer. I would very much like to hear from anyone who has switched from an SSRI to anafranil?
