Hi Anyone know if ocd can just sort of stop on its own or does it easily become a permanent part of you?. Can an obsessive thought calm down of it’s own, on it’s own time, again, like just sort of stop?. It’ scary though, to think it can’t. I feel responsible for these thoughts, for not being good enough, and making my family suffer too. Any advice?

In MY experience it can stop, and I’ve been clear of it for years at a time. But, given a lot of this worldly stress, it can manifest again, unfortunately.

I try to avoid too much stress.

I think you can gain insight into ocd, which is helpful.
