Have you ever thought about your ocd in terms of acceptance? Is that a realistic approach to this terrible disease? I always wondered if ocd thoughts are truly random, or are they like hearing what truly exists in your soul? That thought happens to me and I’m trying to decide if accepting that they are just thoughts and nothing more will free me from ocd? My thoughts want attention so surely, the less we take notice of them, the less power they have over us. We give way too much importance to them. Our goals should be to accept them so they eventually go away and then we’ll be free of the curse of ocd!
