Ok, this is gonna sound really odd, but does anyone else have scary intrusive thoughts and OCD about dirty about socks and shoes? Cuase for example, my daughter has I guess an average teenagers bedroom. She leaves her worn clothes and shoes all over, but, they are really dirty. I try to ick up a pair of socks from the floor to put in the laundry bin, grab the dirty end or yuck, them inside/right side out? This really makes me think seriously I will get ill? Basically, it’s as disgusting as it sounds, handling dirty socks I’m sure will make me ill physically and I think and think about it, how to stop these thoughts and the OCD?
