Hi there, my mum has always been obsessed with how she looks. She thinks she has an awful body that people will laugh about and so rarely leaves the house. But to me, she looks completely normal, our whole family keeps telling her that, but she won’t believe us. My question is: if we can convince her to go see her GP, can they diagnose BDD? We don’t know what else to do to help her.
