Not as long but it started for me in the summer of 1995 so almost 27 years of harm thoughts and OCD. I know now I had traits of OCD when I was younger though. I think I know what you mean about places and dates. For me those places and dates remind me what a traumatic condition this is to have and it’s upsetting to be reminded of past suffering and feel compelled to do compulsions.
