Hi I fear for the future of my family because of things related to my Mum’s ocd and she does’t want to visit a professional for help, because of the nature of her intrusive thoughts and her triggers. If anyone has a family member like this how do you get them to help with their mental health issues?

Try to convince them that there is nothing to worry about seeing a doctor/psychiatrist. They will no doubt have heard it all before.
