Getting Involved And Support During OCD Week of Action 2023

      Get Involved!

Now is the time for change. For too long, people like you with OCD have been let down and left behind by a system that isn’t meeting people’s eeds.

Here are three simple ways you can join our movement and take action today:

      1. Sign our petition: add your voice to the call for better access to treatment for everybody living with OCD in the UK. Sign and share here.
      2. Send a letter to your MP: write directly to the people who can make a difference – use our template letter to get in touch with your MP.
      3. Share your story: raise awareness by sharing your experience of trying to access treatment for OCD with your friends, family and followers on TwitterInstagram and Facebook using #OCDWoA.

      Support During the Week

As well as calling for change, OCD Action will be providing informative sessions and resources to help you to navigate the NHS and understand your rights around OCD-specific treatment.

      • Got any questions about your journey through the NHS? Our Helpline team will answer them in our Navigating NHS Services for OCD Q&A session on Wednesday 15th March. Register here.
      • If you’re a young person living with OCD, join our Instagram Live with our Youth Engagement Panellists on Thursday 16th March. Head to OCD Action’s Instagram at 7.30pm (GMT) to watch.
      • Follow us on TwitterInstagram and Facebook and sign up to our mailing list to receive information and support throughout the week.
