Hi My family seemed to ignore me after my ocd diagnosis but yesterday my daughter came over and this afternoon I visited my sons, we haven’t seen them since July. I still worry that it took them long time to get used to me having ocd.  Today, I tried to show her my handwashing was only when my fingers got really sticky. But up to now it has been okay. I try not to worry about what my children think of me but it’s difficult not to. Did they talk about me? I doubt it. So, just maybe, I can console myself that they are very unlikely to give them something they haven’t already got themselves. We all shared a relaxing cup of coffee to celebrate turning the anxiety into eagerness.
