And if we get into the habit of continually seeking reassurance, we effectively become slaves to other people’s opinions, people who perhaps might not always have our best interests at heart…

    Self assurance, from waiting out anxious feelings, from proving to ourselves that, yes, we are okay, our intentions are good, we are good people, and are aware, because we care, maybe just a little too much for our own good…
