Our work with the Media
OCD Action works with the media to spread awareness of OCD and of the Charity’s vital services to a wider audience. In working with the media, the Charity seeks to ensure that its key messages are expressed.
These are
- That OCD is severe
- That OCD is treatable
- That you should take action to treat OCD as soon as possible
As the UK’s largest and most comprehensive OCD charity, OCD Action is able to provide accurate and up-to-date information on OCD and related conditions and expert comment from leading professionals. The Charity also has access to a wide range of case studies from individuals willing to share their own story about struggling with OCD and related conditions.
Over the last year we have worked with a wide range of local and national media outlets including;
- The Sun
- BBC Breakfast
- BBC News
- Daily Mail
- The Guardian
- BBC radio stations
- Radio 5 Live
- Radio 1
- Newsbeat
- ITV Daybreak
- This Morning
