Hi everyone, A odd thing occurred in my world many years ago. The GP prescribed a medicine to help with sleep, because lack of sleep was making the thoughts worse and more prevalent.  I’m on maintenance dose of medicine to control the anxiety that was driving my contamination OCD. And that is okay… Medicine is not something to fear, when on the right one for us it is really helpful. So is reading a lot to crowd out the thoughts. A book I have just got off my shelf is ‘The thought that counts’ , By Jared Douglas Kant. It is a teenage book, but it’s a good way of looking at things.  Hope this helps someone
