Im confused by the difference between trichodaganomania and trichotillomania.  Are they both hair-pulling disorders or is one a separate condition, like a symptom of ocd?I know that i repetitively feel compelled to bite my hair and it really does help me to cope with negative feelings. But I heard that only trichotillomania is a hair-pulling disorder and a separate condition from ocd. I’m confused about which one I have. I’m having tests with therapist on Monday and at least I’m supported by my family.  I’ve heard these disorders are terrible for so many people and sometimes never get better. I know I have to believe that something good will happen if I can have therapy or meds but it’s so hard to believe right now…
