Hi everyone. I’m an older person (a cyber grannie!) and am new here and o the internet and all of this in general and finally. managed to log on or log in after numerous attempts I’m finally here! I managed to remember my username and password. I chose a nice password that I can actually easily remember. It’s only taken a few days for me to figure out how to do that, and now I’ve created my very own topic.

What I don’t know yet, is how to reply to someone else’s topic. Help! How do I do that? I know it shoud be easy, right? But…!!!

        Hello:

Forum Moderators – welcome to our friendly forum user community. We’re so glad you’re here!

Congratulations on posting your first topic. Replying to someone else’s topic is just as easy:

Under a topic, look for a line of text that says: “Reply To” with the Name of the topic following that.

You’ll also see a line that says “Please read the Forum Guidelines before posting. You can find them as a “sticky” topic at the top of each forum”.

Under that line is an empty text box. Simply type in your reply. You can format it (i.e. make text bold, or into a bulleted list by using the bar above the box.

Once you’re happy with your reply, just hit the “Submit” button.

        That’s it! You’ve replied to someone’s topic!

Please don’t hesitate to ask questions about the forum any time.

        Best Wishes,

        Forum Moderators

If you look at forum posts, there are quite a few that discuss CBT. The OCD Action website also has very useful information about treatment for OCD, including CBT – please have a look!

          Best Wishes, Forum Moderators
