Thanks for your question about finding your friends from the old forum here. Don’t worry, your old friends may be on this new forum. You can search for them, although not all users chose to be part of this new forum.
We also updated user profiles as part of this forum’s enhanced security to protect user privacy and safety. On the old forum you could click on another user’s profile to read some basic details about them. But this forum does not have this feature to help protect user privacy and make this a safe place for everyone.
You can communicate with your friends on this new forum by replying publicly to their posts. It helps us to ensure your safety if we (and everyone on the forums) can read what users are writing to each other.
We hope everyone is enjoying the new forum! We do realise it may take a while to adjust to the updates. And we hope you understand that the updates help to make this a safer place for the entire user community.
