My ocd symptoms, especially the intrusive thoughts started slowly and will be away for a while but always worsen, stress means it gets worse. And my obsessions and compulsions also change over time. It’s like I avoid things that trigger my symptoms but can’t cope. I kind of recognise that my compulsiions don’t make sense and realise my behavior isn’t normal and I often fear that something terrible will happen if I don’t perform certain odd rituals. Is therapy relevant for ocd?? ERP? Who do I ask about ERP?
