Our research study looks at exploring experiences of betrayal amongst people with Mental Contamination OCD, a kind of OCD where people can feel dirty and have an urge to wash in response to thoughts, feelings or reminders of people or places, rather than just physical contaminants like germs. We hope that having a deeper understanding of difficult experiences like betrayal will help clinicians to offer interventions which are a better fit for people with Mental Contamination OCD.
