Who can attend:
We are an informal User-Led Group of Volunteer Carers and OCD Sufferers (established in 1999), who offer a friendly welcome to all who have an interest in OCD and its related disorders and aim to help each other through mutual support and information. We recognise the importance of Support Groups in their role alongside treatment in recovery from and the management of your OCD, within a safe, friendly and non-judgemental environment, where you can talk openly about your OCD, as well as giving support and encouragement to others. Tea, Coffee and Biscuits are provided at each meeting In some meetings we have Guest Speakers on OCD, others we have Open Discussion Meetings, where everyone has the opportunity to share any problems or experiences in managing their OCD Symptoms.
Carrs Lane Church Centre is a Modern Building just a few minutes' walk from New Street Station, National Express Coach Station Deritend and across the road from Moor Street Railway Station. It is located opposite Marks and Spencer's Store. It can be reached by most City Centre Bus Routes, the closest being those which terminate along Carrs Lane and Moor Street Queensway.
