Hi there, also, in the blue footer at the bottom of this page, there is 'All our information'. Click on that and there is a wealth of resources to help us on our daily battle with Ocd. Booklists and articles.

Hi there, and welcome. It's sure not easy is it. My wife had a false alarm on her smartphone. NHS 119 is a good place to ask for advice. If you get tested and the result is negative, no problem. And your dog definitely loves you, so go with the idea that just maybe, everything is okay.

Hi there, It's sure not easy, is it? Today was the tomorrow we worried about yesterday, and basically, it turned out more or less okay... So maybe, just maybe tomorrow will turn out okay. There is a good book that helped me.

Yes, it sure can. To be honest, I am religious, but only so far. God is my friend regardless of what church says. I used to be a uniformed salvationist. Now I'm just an adherent, an attendee. I have the very rare glass of booze without feeling guilty. Although I do prefer latte coffee.

Hi there, it's all in the past, so we can now move away from them. On a sunny day, and we look towards the light, the shadows will be behind us. There is an Irish proverb that I cannot recall at present, but that beautifully illustrates this.

Hi there and welcome to the forums.  I actually attended 2 courses of CBT. Each with a different therapist. Each with about 12 sessions, lasting about an hour each session. On the second course, the therapist recorded the session, then burnt it to CD so I could take a copy home.

Hi there... Yep... It is definitely best to just let things go... We will have all made mistakes, and we are all forgiveable. If everyone else can be allowed to make mistakes, then so can we.

Hi there, There are things that we will never know the exact answer to. And probably for our own benefit. We can just never know for sure. We need to dismiss things we just cannot solve... Life's too short to try and solve everything... I cannot make everyone like me.

Hi there. Decaff coffee, Decaff Tea, are good... Drinking chocolate has Caffeine in it. I've changed over to Decaff coffee, and feel a lot better for it. I love the taste of coffee, and when it is Decaff I don't fear drinking too much of it.

Hi there, For the moment, why do anything about it at all? Explore other facets of your life, like hobbies, or writing a book, maybe a fiction story about the main character being in a similar situation to your own. Almost live the story... In time, maybe the answers will come I'm sure...
