Try not to act upon the thoughts

Hi I have harm OCD but never, ever act upon my thoughts that would hurt. But I think about acting on my harmless thoughts sometimes. For the longest time I was scared because I became obssessed with the thought of doing something bad despite not actually wanting to. Dealing with my ocd harm thoughts isn’t the only obssession i’ve had. Does this sound weird?
