I have strange intrusive thoughts and am terrified of thinking or saying them. Would being on meds help reduce the anxiety that developed for me? Anyone else experiance this?

Hi there… Whereas medicine can help to reduce the severity of the intrusive thoughts,  they, by so doing can reduce our ability to think straight and logically. I try to write down stuff, to logically reason with it, and make it rigid, rather than frantically rushing around in my head and frightening me…

Being able to see it in text in front of my eyes, gives it structure, so I can see it for what it is…

          Hopefully this will help…
