      is just not thinking about it the best way to stop your ocd intrusive thought? If you let yourself think about the thought, then it has power over you and you give it that power, right? So how can I just not think the thought? Seems too easy.

        Try to ignore intrusive thoughts, but if they persist, try not to ruminate or do compulsions. Just let the thoughts be till they fade out. Dont fight them.
