Does anyone get what I am saying: I’m very worried about ocd feeling pretty normal to me. I was all right with it when I was diagnosed and I’ve dealt with many obsessions and this feels like me, but part of my mind is making me doubt it.

I think I found it easier to deal with before I was diagnosed. Ok yeah there were real struggles, but to me that was normal. Life was just tough and it was only me that got affected by it. Now it affects my family because they know. Putting a name on it does help in a way, but it’s also confirmed that I’m not actually normal, which is a struggle to deal with in itself.
